These popular sessions will run throughout 2020
under the instruction of our instructor Pauline Allen.
Pauline, who lives locally and has classes in Caversham and Reading, has been teaching Tai Chi for the past 20 years and has a background in dance and physiology.
Using Tai Chi and Qigong principles everyone can maintain health, fitness and a sense of wellbeing. This will be a core aspect of the Purley on Thames class using the Yang style Beijing Form.
The
classes are held in the large Barn every Wednesday afternoon; you are
advised to arrive soon after 1.15pm with the class starting at 1.30pm
lasting for one hour. There is then an opportunity for social
interaction and tea until 3pm.
The cost of each session is £6 which is payable on the day and we look forward to greeting new members. Please note it is best to wear loose clothing and soft soled footwear and have a regular drink of water during practice.
Runs every Wednesday between 15:30 and 16:30 in the Purley Memorial Hall.
For more details please contact Geoff on 0118 9412080 or email taichi@purleyonthames.org.uk.
Tai Chi is supported by Silver Surfers Inspire 4 Life and Purley on Thames Parish Council.
